As more people join the forum I'm curious to hear what everyone's motorcycle history is like. For me I don't have a long ownership history, currently I have a 2016 Suzuki V-Strom 650 and before that I had a 2010 Harley Davidson Sportster.

I still have the Honda VFR800 Fi1, gear driven cam V-4. And the Harley. My long suffering wife also rides and owns a Moto Fantic Cabellero 500. 160kgs of Italian thumper with 40 odd angry Italian horsepower. Great fun to thrash around on. Much like the Pan America.

Tell you one thing. Suzuki do the best, most snickety gearboxes. I do like a Suzuki and of all the Jap bikes, the one that I have a genuine soft spot for. Harleys are not the best, who is, but they are full of character, which are rewarding to ride at semi-legal speeds. That's why I bought the Pan Am. Otherwise I'd be on a turbo Kawasaki, feck the law and the police.

I owned several Harleys and old triumphs , along with several dirt bikes. Even had a Suzuki Hayabusa and joined the 200 mph club currently in the stable beside my PAS is a 63 Triumph bobber , a 72 Harley shovelhead , 09 Harley streetglide ,a 2015 Indian scout, and 2011 KLR650 all running . Also working on restoring a Suzuki RM 400 moto crosser

Felt the same way when I had my Hayabusa . to easy to cruise at 150mph
