Here is one picture showing one view of the crooked dash, and windshield. Note the handlebar clamps and how they line up with the windshield brackets off center. (Bikes wheels are in line with each other) I will post front end photos tomorrow after I get the bike back from dealer from the coolant leak issue.

The service person called Harley today regarding time frame for the new bracket that is supposed to repair this problem. I was told the part is estimated JAN of 2024 ! I will talk to the dealer tomorrow that I want this in writing from HD and I will contact Harley to express my concerns. (I don't want this swept under the rug). I can't explain how anyone at the factory missed this. If you try to remove or even loosen any of the bolts involved with the front end you will need a pry bar or jack to reinstall. And no one at the factory noticed? Found this out attempting to evaluate the coolant leak so I could actually ride the bike the day after I picked it up.
I do want to say my dealer has been great and they appear to understand my frustrations. I believe they are frustrated as well. I ordered a 2023 and thought all the problems would be over but now realize they are simply replacing past problems with new ones. Dan
There is no way I would have taken delivery of that, no way I would not have noticed it on a test ride or even a walk by.. Is it possible it (and the others) were damaged in shipping and improperly repaired?

Those parts are welded on fixture by robots and laser aligned. Taking the time to force and bend things on an assembly production line would have gotten major attention from a drop in assembly output.

Is this a York PA bike? (check your Vin).

I was told late last week by my Dealer that they (HD) were working on a new front bracket that would compensate for the misalignment of the frame attachment points similar to the pictured diesel101 post above.
Wait....Let me back up.... like most politicians, they didn't admit any misalignments or any wrongdoing of any sort, but they did say this new magic bracket will fix both misalignment of the TFT dash and the headlight and all attached parts off the steering head and it was currently in the works. (A different way of saying they made a mistake) How long I asked?.... Jan 2024 was the response. (If they didn't make a mistake I wonder, why so long?)
I told them I would call HD since this is obviously a safety issue because the headlight is completely out of alignment and I also mentioned the failed bracket install that diesel101 mentioned earlier in this thread.
Long story short. The service manager called HD and I was told today that this new bracket will be expedited and be here by the end of June 2023.
I will definitely let everyone know the outcome. Coolant leak has been repaired and now look forward to enjoy my new ride. Head tilted to the right for now.... Dan

What a box of rocks! Piss poor quality assurance. The only strange thing I did notice, on the right side of my 22 PAS, is that the frame doesn't come together. I looked at other '22 PASs on the showroom floor, and some had this gap, and other did not. The salesman made note of it, and that was it.

Hello Munaman, My 2021 PAS has the same pinch clamp on the swing arm pivot. Looks freaken freanky when you first see this. As fast as I have been on mine or as many times as I have dropped it.

I'm starting to wonder if the 2022 PAS isn't the "sweet" spot. As I said earlier, I'm currently in the market for a PAS and I really thought 2023 would be the way to go; but another interesting trend I'm seeing is super low miles (like, sub 100 miles low) used 2023 PAS for sale from Harley dealers. Some dealers won't tell me the story on the bikes, but several of them have said they're bikes that were sold and then literally blew the motors so the the dealers took the bikes back and are getting new motors from Harley then having to sell them as 'used' bikes.

You'd think 3 years in they'd be ironing out any manufacturing issues not introducing new ones (crooked frames and grenading motors)...

I REALLY like the PAS, almost entirely due to the ARH feature as I have a 30" inseam on my best day (29" every other day); but damn, I wish there weren't so many horror stories!

Those of you who have seen a crooked 2023 bike in person, can you weigh in on these pics? I've been in contact with several dealers trying to make a deal on a 2023 PAS, this dealer has by far the best price offering for me and I got the salesman to send me some pics. To my eye I feel like this bike has some of what you guys are describing where the front end is twisted down on the right side... I can't be sure if it is or if I'm just seeing it because I'm so nervous having read this forum thread...

The dealer is ~4 hours away I'm trying to make sure I know what I"m getting into before heading all the way over there!

No doubt that has the crooked front. Look at the gap ((Larger front view) and the gap between headlight and the bar underneath. (tighter on left than right) Dash TFT is to the right as well. The best way to really tell with the dash is, the wheels need to be completely in line. Take it for a ride down a straight road (wheels tracking straight) and the dash will really stand out. Thats when it really bugs me. Bike tracks 100% straight but the headlight, dash, and all the fixed parts on the upper front are going right and down.
I have no doubt however that this issue will be resolved by Harley especially if it's noted at the point of sale and the dealer files a warranty repair request and it is approved. Tilted Down and to the Right but not for long, Dan

Thanks... That's what I thought... What gives me pause on that is that I'd be buying from that dealer, but ideally getting service (and warranty work) from another (much closer) dealer... Damn, HD really trying to talk me out of buying a PanAm. Lots to think about, but thanks for the confirmation.

I am in the same boat... I have two dealers about 3 hours from me giving me a 20k w TTL out eh door for a new yellow 23 model.....

My yellow super T is hitting 50k miles and I really want a PA but this thread really has me holding the pocket book shut...

I've already been struggling going back to a chain from a shaft, and now all the issues the HD PA has???

Where is that Indian 1200 ADV???

I just looked at my 2022 PAS Enthusiast (Green Military), and compared it, based on your pics. And yes, it does seem that the PAS you're looking at, is misaligned. I have none of the leaning fairing issues or the Screen leaning issues, as shown on the PAS pics you posted. Have the dealer send pics of a different PAS, and compare. Do not get the PAS you posted.

Dealers are desperate to move Pan Americas, my dealer has 5 and two are’22’s. That’s why you got that price. This is my 6 th and last Harley. The company has lost its direction and the price tag is no longer worth it. I no longer view Harley as a “premium’ brand, no matter what the marketing team says. Good luck

Seems to not be the case. Some dealers don't have any to move.

Every dealer in state has multiples, many have sat long enough to have their state inspections expire. The bike has significant design and software issues that need to be sorted out, hopefully any delays are just that happening though I wouldn't put it past the MoCo to Livewire it.

That bit about being the best selling adventure bike is pure bullshit, take a look at the quarterly earnings reports and keep in mind that bikes "sold" are bikes sent to a dealership, not the end customer.

There's a lot of "bullshit" in the world. I'm really happy we have this forum to help sort out the facts.

Harley Davidsons cure for my issue is they want to do a frame swap on my new bike. I told my dealership I either wanted a new bike (being mine only has 9 mile on it) or I would like my money back. The dealership manager came right out and said they don't want my bike back. Needless to say the lawyers are now involved.
I have an early’21 with the same problem issues as most everyone else here. I know it’s a great bike, when it wants to play nice, but holy crap 💩 this bike is a mechanical joke. 2 years old, 7000 miles and I was offered $11,000 for it! My dealer has 5 on the floor and doesn’t want mine. The union assembly line workers either hate this bike and are sabotaging it or they don’t know what they’re doing. So many assembly issues. Poor quality of imported components, like fuel pump, oil pumps, and my Stator just quit. I have 2 more years of extended warranty and then I’m done with Harley. This is my 6th Harley since 2016 from the same dealer, they are great, but the MoCo doesn’t care about the owners.

@NoIDRecluse, we get it, your not happy with the bike. Replying to all the posts with the same complaints and replies isn't going to make it better.
