Cant say bout other brands but can say I'm happy with tourtech! Its holding a Garmin xt and been out and about and not just around town/day travels.
I have the lockable Touratech one and it has worked great over 50,000 kms
I got the pazoma bracket and a motopumps locking mount. The bracket is sturdy and a much better price point. The gps mount from motopumps is worth the added security IMO.
I'm glad to hear it's sturdy - from the videos I've seen, it looked a little flimsy. Any issues or concerns with it? No interference with the windshield?
I had the same concern about it being flimsy but once installed it has been solid. No interference with the windshield. So far no problems.
Not if you're in the US. Both of the PA specific mounts are out of stock (and have been for a while).
