Ordered the Aeedea highway pegs, but when they emailed me, after shipping and tariffs, they were going to be almost $200! I’m sure they are worth it but I hate the idea of paying double the cost of something to get it… so did a search on Amazon and saw these Kemimotos. No reviews so I pulled the trigger and will post up my thoughts after I receive them. Less than 1/2 the price so if I don’t love them, it’s no biggie. Design is different but also similar.

Denali D7 pro's on the upper (fairing-esque) mounts, CANSmart unit, and Camel-ADV skidplate.

Now I have a DOD switch (Daylight On Demand).

Tuning tomorrow to make the lighting more reasonable. Looking forward to getting my Wunderlich boxes back from the painter.

We have trust issues...
🤣😅🤣
I mean, if ya gonna run ya mouth, best be able to back it up (with pictures)?

:D

Needed to "tune" the lighting anyway to get it both pointed right and configured for good low/high intensity. I want additional visibility for both myself and where I'm going, but there's a fine line between "I can see good and you see me better" and "Portable Retinal Destruction Apparatus".

Today I'm starting the 40,000 mile service... I say "starting" because I still don't have the damn spark plugs. I ordered them from the dealer on Tuesday..

Got "Mike's motorcycle channel" qued up on the garage TV. @mikeInPA and @Tobba611 chain adjustment thread.

This is a great forum.. But it does have a troll problem.
By any chance are there replacement Iridium spark plugs available for the Pan Am. If so, you'd probably never have to replace them again.

I don't think so, the Drag Specialties set I installed at 30k is the only cross I could find outside of the two variations from HD. Maybe the Screaming Chicken set is iridium?

Honestly, the last two sets I pulled out looked fine and could have probably just been cleaned and re-used. I sometimes think spark plug intervals are designed to make sure the plug can be removed if necessary. Like if you left them in the carbon build up might destroy the head when you finally do need to pull them.

I left the stock plugs in my 21 for over 17000mi and they looked fine when I changed them out. Plugs sure last longer with unleaded fuel and leaner factory tunes.

Got the wunderlich side stand spring installed along with the stock one as well , it really does a good job holding it up if you have a side stand foot pad of some sort as I do.

new tires on. MikeinPA's video was super helpful, as well as having the service manual. I also took both off at the same time, and used a scissor jack to hold up the front. (i take my tires to a guy with a tire machine.. for the price he charges its not worth it). I just had to wedge a block of wood under it, if I didnt i'd crush the cat.

As my first PA tire change, the only surprise was how much the rear axle fought me on the way out. What PITA. It was dry as a bone so obviously i put anti-seize on it before re-installing. (as the manual calls for). Oh and that special hex nut you need for the front axle.

Chain cleaned and lubed and started putting stickers on my luggage system, not sure how I like it yet but if any bike can pull off the sticker look it's our beloved Pan America 🤪

Installed the V&H Adventure Hi-Output 450 slip-on.
I have the same system and I love it , looks good on there and now after around 3000-4000 miles it's gotten a little deeper tone too , I get teased about the yeti cup slip-on look and I just say Haters gonna Hate 🤣

Looks good my friend 😎

So after riding a day or 3 with the 20 tooth front sprocket and the 46 tooth rear sprocket from Sprocket Center it's definitely more street oriented and around 750 lower rpms at 70+mph and hardly notice the slight change in letting out on the clutch 🤔 so if my Hillbilly math is correct it should be like just doing a 43 or 44 tooth rear but the benefit I wish I would have paid extra attention to is the chain being further away from the chain wear pad due to the larger front sprocket which should really prolong the life of that little do-hicky 😉
