Hello there. writing from Spain. I just had this morning the “engine switch off” failure. My kms so far are 21k , and I have the RA1250S June’21.. Hope the dealerships finds a solution, but I see I’m not the o my one having this problem. Xx.

Has anyone had there 22PA shut down while riding like the kill switch was hit? I was riding the canyons and bike died without any cautions while in Mid turn like the kill switch h was hit. No check engine no cautions. Did not see if there was any DTC.
Yes. I'm hitting the same thing. I have an intersection at the house. I pull in the clutch coasting downhill to the right and the bike shuts off. Happened yesterday twice. Once when I was pulling in the drive. I parked the bike, did not turn the switch off and checked for codes. No faults.

Today it happened to me. Freaky experience on a twisty road in the Turkish Taurus mountains with cars around. A "sudden death", no codes. Riding in standard Touring mode. PA is production 11.2021. I am second owner. Bought it 1 month ago with 1000 km done 4 weeks ago. Now done 5000 km. HD dealer installed 4 weeks ago all the latest updates plus the first service interval. I want to have this sorted out because this is very dangerous if it happens on the wrong spot.

Thanks for thinking with me. In my case rather unlikely as I was wearing halffinger HD gloves. Second, I directly thought I caused it myself by touching the kill switch. So, l looked at it with full attention and noticed it was in the run position.......:(:(

Well mine has done it now 7 times, 3 times while in traffic or at a busy intersection....... I have had it since new this May. just under 6k miles and HD still cannot figure this thing out.. gone through all of the usual side stand down...RCM, RearABS no fixes yet... and a fuel pump failure.... we shall see.

Update since OP. Mike bike went several months now and has done the no reason random stall out about a total of 7 times now. Three times in one trip from my OP and four more throughout the last three months. The most recent ones were in my residential neighborhood under 25 MPH. After turning onto a street. Common factors are the bike in turn or has just turned and clutch pulled in. It almost seems like the idle just never catches itself from dropping after pulling the clutch in and then dies. Still no codes. Screen remains on and no other signs of faults or failures. I now have an apt at the dealer but even the service manager said that he hasn't heard of that issue yet and they might have a hard time getting it to replicate. At least I am on my way to having it documented . This is a dangerous gripe. Who knows when this might happen and cause me a wreck.
Did this ever get resolved for you? I have a 2024 and this is its exact behavior. The dealer has magically "failed to reproduce" the issue during its 1k service it just went in for.

Guys, that's really serious and I'm now in the club.
Just posted my details there (another thread)
But yeah, mine cut off at 90mph on a highway as well. Everyone of us can **** up right,... But a bike should never stall while riding. Without any indication.
Most dangerous thing I've seen so far.
Even the engine exploding doesn't feel so dangerous...(Had it once... But it made a sound before 🤪)
